We are delighted to announce that we have appointed Daniel Hogan as our new Musical Director. His first concert in this new role will take place in November 2025.
Daniel is a young British conducting talent beginning to establish himself on the international music scene. Has has been recognised across the profession as a conductor with enormous potential; a reputation for musical knowledge and musicianship, combined with an empathetic and personable leadership style. We are delighted to welcome Guest Conductor Jonathan Mann for our summer concert of the current season. Jonathan is Music Director of Ensemble Cambrica and the Hertford Symphony Orchestra whilst also Artistic Director of the CIAC Conducting Academy, where he mentors emerging conductors from around the world.

Bath Symphony Orchestra ‘Reached for the Stars’ by performing a thrilling programme of space-related orchestral music to a sell-out audience at The Forum, Bath. The audience was treated to an evening of symphonic magic, accompanied by the ethereal voices of the Bath Abbey Girls’ Choir and Hayesfield Girls’ School Choir sung from the balcony during Holst’s The Planets Suite.
We were delighted to welcome Guest Conductor Emilie Godden for our opening concert of the current season. Emilie is a conductor and first violinist at the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, based in Cardiff.
Our opening concert of the new season welcomed Craig Ogden as soloist at Wiltshire Music Centre.
